I've been on multiple hikes in the the everglades and along the beachs
of this awesome gulf coast. ..I especially love the balance of it when
walking across rocky outcroppings or along the rocks at the beachfront
it's light yet solid. Already, can't imagine ever going hiking or
exploring without it at my side. One of my friends is an Army Ranger
and he attached a pace cord to the leather so I will always know how

BILL!!! The walking stick was a success, and my dad's first response (he didn't have his glasses on yet) was "it is so light!". This may not mean a lot to you or me... but dad I guess has looked at many walking sticks and they tend (as you know) to be very heavy. Once he got the glasses on, my LOVED the stick. My husband (the newest member to our family) wrote a 3 page explanation of why we chose what we did, how we had it made (i.e. YOU).. etc. Dad was in tears. It was a success, and I loved it as well.

I did get the stick today. I don't think that I could fully express my
thoughts on the stick... You were so patient, open to ideas and very easy to
work with. I really wanted to give my father something very personal and
special and you accomplished that for me. The pictures were great, but
actually holding it just reaffirmed the fine craftsmanship and how much I

"The stick had more power than anticipated. My burly father wept when he saw it. He knew that a cane of some sort was in the bag, he just wasn't prepared for the sort of beauty that he was presented with.
His first outing with his new friend was to the Irish festival on the riverfront by his home. He was stopped several times and took great pride in retelling the tale of how he became in possession of his walking stick and of the love (by the artist and by his daughter) that created such a precious gift.
I must tell you that from the first photo through to the last, I saved and compiled a short travelogue of the sticks journey. My family was intrigued by the pains taken on your half to produce a stick worthy of Harry himself. Thank you.
